The HOKAFI family has some very sad news to report. 
Susan Kroah Giblin, 46, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010, at the Hershey Medical Center. She volunteered here at HOKAFI for 17 years and served as our medical coordinator for nearly 10 years. She was married for 21 years to her high school sweetheart, Michael E. Giblin, who supported her hard work to help animals in need. Michael reported to us that he will be setting up the Susan Giblin Memorial Foundation for Animal Wellness and Welfare. He intends to carry on Susan work in assisting with animal welfare. Degreed both as a Paralegal and as a Certified Veterinary Technician, she was employed as a tech at the Boiling Springs Animal Hospital. Susan was such as special and integral part of the HOKAFI family and will be missed by the animals she cared for and the volunteers and staff who worked with her. |
