The litter boxes have been scooped, water bowls refreshed, felines and canines fed, dogs have been walked, many pets, hugs and kisses given and returned, but the job is still not done.  HOKAFI depends solely on the private sector, YOU, our loyal supporters for the funds required to continue our important work.

Buy Giant Gift Cards from HOKAFI and help us raise some funds to care for our furry friends!  Call our voicemail line at 717-697-3377 and leave a message or contact us and a volunteer will get back to you!

For every $100 of Giant gift cards sold, HOKAFI receives a $5 rebate.  We stock denominations of $10, $20, $50 and $100 gift cards.

Print Cartridges Wanted!

Our printer cartridge recycling program is a great way to help our shelter residents!   We have partnered with Cartridge World’s Recycle Rewards program.  We collect your empty ink jet cartridges, laser printer cartridges and digital cell phones and the shelter receives cash for the items collected!  Items may be dropped off at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm or call our voice mail line at 717-697-3377 and leave a message to set up a different day and time to drop off your empty cartridges.

Purina's Pro Club Weight Circles Program

HOKAFI has partnered with Purina’s Pro Club Weight Circle Program. The program works like this:

As a Pro Club Member clip weight circles from bags and plastic containers of participating Purina brand pet foods, send them to HOKAFI and we can earn Purina Points. Purina Points can then be redeemed for rebate checks good toward future purchases of Purina brand dog foods or checks for veterinary services.

So, before you throw away that empty bag or plastic container of Purina brand dog or cat food, clip the weight circle from the bag that looks like the one pictured here. The weight circles are usually found on the side of the bags and the back of the plastic containers.

Aluminum Cans for Recycling Wanted!

Are those bags of aluminum cans starting to clutter up your garage, pantry, back porch or basement? You’re reluctant to throw them in your recycle bin as you think they might be worth some $$$’s but you just aren’t sure what to do with them.

Well we do and we’d be more than happy to take them off your hands!
